강의제목

Displaying Mathematical Formulae and Graphs on a Web Page without Extra Programs

강의요약

It is required to display formulas or mathematical graphs and figures in mathematics or science related applications. Especially when we develop those as web based applications or webapps, one of huddles is to display them smoothly and clearly without using extra programs or plug-in modules. In our tutorials we will examine various methods to display them for web applications only based on HTML standards. In the first part, we will see how to create formulae for web pages using images, MathML, and MathJax, and in the second half how graphs or figures can be included in web pages using SVG and HTML5 canvas element.
